Statement of Faith

1. The Authority of Scripture

We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and final authority for faith and life.

2. The Trinity

We believe in one true God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. The Person and Work of Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of the virgin Mary, who lived a sinless life, died as a substitutionary sacrifice for sinners, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return again.

4. The Sinfulness of Humanity

We believe that all people are created in God’s image but fell into sin through Adam and are spiritually dead and unable to save themselves apart from God’s grace.

5. Salvation by Grace Alone

We believe that salvation is entirely by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by human works. God sovereignly calls, justifies, sanctifies, and preserves His people.

6. The Work of the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit regenerates sinners, indwells believers, sanctifies them, and empowers them for Christian living and service.

7. The Church

We believe that the church is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers, gathered for worship, fellowship, discipleship, and the proclamation of the gospel.

8. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper

We believe that Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances given by Christ to the church as signs of the gospel and means of spiritual encouragement to believers.

9. The Return of Christ and Final Judgment

We believe that Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to judge the living and the dead. Believers will enjoy eternal life with God, while unbelievers will face eternal judgment.

10. The Glory of God

We believe that all things exist for the glory of God alone, and believers are called to live for His honor in every area of life.
